RCD Mallorca is the football club of the island capital Palma and the sporting heart of Mallorca. As the only Balearic team in the top Spanish division, the club stands for first-class football, living tradition and a passion that radiates far beyond the island. A matchday at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix is simply unmissable. Founded in 1916, Real Club Deportivo Mallorca looks back on more than a century of eventful club history. The greatest triumph came in 2003 with the victory in the Copa del Rey. The supporters, affectionately known as Bermellones, wear their red shirts with a pride that is visible all over the island. Estadi Mallorca Son Moix holds more than 23,000 spectators and has recently been extensively modernised.
