PalmaActiva is currently looking for a qualified Building Construction Foreman to join the team in Palma. In this role, you will play a key part in local building projects by coordinating, supervising, and managing daily operations on the construction site. This is a full-time position that allows you to apply your leadership skills directly on-site in Palma.
Your daily responsibilities will center around ensuring that all construction activities run smoothly and efficiently. You will coordinate and supervise the physical work on-site, managing both internal resources and external subcontracts. By controlling the daily workflow, you will help maintain project timelines and quality standards. Monitoring safety protocols and ensuring compliance with occupational risk prevention measures will also be an essential part of your daily routine.
To qualify for this position, you must have solid, proven experience working as a construction foreman. Because you will need to travel and manage on-site logistics, a valid driving license and your own vehicle are strictly required. Additionally, you must hold the 20-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) certificate for construction, as well as the Preventive Resource course (curso de Recurs Preventiu). These safety certifications are mandatory for the role.
To stand out from other candidates, certain additional qualifications are highly valued. Having a vocational training degree (FP) specializing in construction, building, or civil works is a major plus. Furthermore, any complementary training or certification in construction site management will be highly regarded and will help you excel in coordinating resources and subcontracts.
The working hours for this full-time position are set from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 18:00, amounting to 40 hours per week. This structure allows you to enjoy your weekends free. The salary for this position is to be agreed upon (a convenir) during the interview process, depending on your background and professional experience.
